Job Description:
The Department of Management in the Warrington College of Business (WCB) at the University of Florida is seeking a post-doctoral associate for appointment in August 2024 to work on original research with Dr. Klodiana Lanaj and other faculty in the Department of Management on topics of leadership, identity, and related areas in organizational behavior. The candidate will have opportunities to collaborate on research projects with faculty and doctoral students in the WCB while continuing to develop their own research projects under the departments’ guidance and mentorship. The selected candidate will be appointed for a two-year period and will teach 10-12 credits of courses per year (graduate and undergraduate, covering courses such as organizational behavior, human resource management, and creativity).
Expected Salary:
Salary is competitive commensurate with education and experience. The range for a twelve-month period is: $75,000 - $80,000. There is also research funding available.
Minimum Requirements:
This is a full-time position located on the main campus at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
The candidate must have or anticipate receiving a Ph.D. in organizational behavior, psychology, or related fields of study before August 2024.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful candidates are expected to have the following competencies:
A strong background in multilevel statistical analyses.
Ability to manage and analyze complex data using R, Mplus, and SPSS.
Ability to work independently and proactively as part of a research team.
