They utilize multiple sources including specializedpolice-related computer systems to research, enter, retrieve, andanalyze information. A LOT of information. Including following up onapproximately 62,000 calls each year. And they share this information byphone, email and other written correspondence, radio, and in-person.They are in the know and a great resource to officers and communitymembers they answer questions, resolve issues, maintain records, monitorbuilding security, and more, sometimes simultaneously, with strongattention to detail and accuracy and in a timely manner.
