POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATIONThe Police Officer- Certified, is a safety-sensitive position that isinvolved with the complex and specialized activities required to maintaincivil order and enforce laws and ordinances. Police Officers are responsiblefor the protection of life and property, detection and prevention ofcrime, apprehension of criminals, and enforcement of laws and ordinancesin a designated specialized area or on an assigned shift. This is asafety-sensitive position. Candidates must be Colorado POST certified by dateof hire, in order to be considered for this position.
