The Lead Plastic Tool Tech constructs and maintains pattern equipment used in the foundry and prepares production patterns to run on time. Responsible for the review, maintenance and auditing of hold tags and daily production schedules. Schedules DISA samples and audits results. Assists in scheduling Pattern Shop employees.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Set up and build DISA pattern and related equipment.
Measure plastic tooling against blueprints
Repair production patterns and core boxes.
Construct wood gating.
Machine parts using Bridgeport milling machine.
Pour plastic accurately.
Work with plastic and materials suppliers.
Lead sample meeting
For This Role, You Will Need:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous relevant pattern experience.
Bridgeport milling and DISA
Mathematical Proficiency
Strong Organizational Skills
Accurate and Efficient Data Entry
Excellent Communication Skills
Blueprint Reading
Hand-eye coordination
