As a Plant HealthCare Specialist, you will play an important role in: Performing tree andshrub care treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injectiontools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative Communicating withclients regarding work performed during site visits Mixing and applyingpesticides and fertilizers to trees and shrubs according to diagnosis,safety procedures, label instructions, and state laws Properlymaintaining and operating equipment and vehicles (hand tools, sprayagitators, portable spray equipment, and other machinery) Completingaccurate record-keeping and reporting daily Safely driving a companyvehicle to multiple properties throughout the day Working as a member ofa tree care crew, under the Arborist Crew Leader\'s supervision duringthe off-season QUALIFICATIONS A passion for nature, the environment, andthe outdoors Ability to pass a criminal background check Interest inworking outdoors year-round in all weather conditions Ability to obtaina Commercial Pesticide Applicator License ? We will pay for the cost ofthe exam and help you prepare! Valid driver\'s license and clean motorvehicle record Learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the regionDegree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass,Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture ora related field OR prior experience working in landscaping orhorticulture is preferred but not required The F.
