Description We are in search of a Plant Controller for our agricultural operations based in Seward, Nebraska. This role involves taking charge of the financial aspects of our plant, delivering insightful analysis to guide decision-making, and leading the local plant finance team to ensure robust financial performance and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all cost and manufacturing operations related enquiries

• Collaborate closely with plant and business leadership to facilitate optimal decision making

• Serve as the subject matter expert for our ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics)

• Assist in making pricing decisions for new and existing customers

• Conduct thorough Manufacturing Standard vs. Variance Analysis

• Manage, execute, and optimize the monthly close process

• Work in partnership with IT to develop and roll out reporting in multiple systems

• Measure and report on operational metrics such as Yield, Scrap, Throughputs, Labor Efficiency, etc.

• Take on Budgeting and Forecasting duties, including but not limited to developing and maintaining Standard Costing, Departmental spend forecasting and analysis

• Identify and quantify Cost Savings

• Ensure all plant accounting/reporting is in accordance with US GAAP Accounting Standards and accounting policies/procedures. Requirements • Must have at least 5 years of experience in the Agriculture industry, specifically in a Plant Controller role

• Proficiency in using 3M and Eaton systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Must have knowledge and experience in CapEx and Capital Management

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Must be familiar with 'About Time' software

• Should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Budget Processes in a manufacturing company setting is required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Cost Accounting in an agricultural context is necessary.
