Southington Care center features a state-of-the–art rehab pavilion complete with Aqua Therapy and an Occupational Therapy suite that replicates the home setting. Overview Join our experienced Rehab team to provide customized rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of a diverse population who no longer require hospitalization, however are in need of short-term rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary therapeutic environment. Southington Care Center's rehabilitation programs and services include: • Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy • Outpatient Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy • Lymphedema Management • Good Life Fitness & Wellness Program We offer a team-oriented structure, an excellent benefits package and opportunities for growth throughout our network. Job Summary The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Physical Therapist in planning, directing, and administering the Physical Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times. • Must possess an Associate Degree from an accredited program conferring the title of Physical Therapist Assistant. • Must possess a Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of CT. • Experience preferred with 1-2 year(s) of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility. • Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices.
