　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will administer physical therapy treatment programs or portions thereof as planned and directed by a licensed physical therapist. You will be responsible for correct execution of therapeutic modalities and exercise regimes to patients. You will closely communicate and collaborate with the licensed physical therapist. You will maintain accurate records of services provided. You will provide direction, guidance, and training to non-professional personnel in the execution of patient treatments.

　　You will assist in adjusting goals throughout the program in conjunction with therapist and participate in discharge planning

　　You will assist in determining progression of exercise program

　　You will conduct therapy sessions in a safe, professional manner

　　You will provide patient and family education in appropriate areas

　　Job Qualifications

　　Experience

　　Computer skills – preferredEducation

　　Associate’s or higher degree for Physical Therapist AssistantLicenses and Certifications

　　Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per St. David’s HealthCare policy

　　Current Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License
