Job Description
Position Duties
Evaluate residents upon physician order for skilled physical therapy intervention
Provide skilled physical therapy intervention as described in the physical therapy treatment plan
Serve as a consultant for ILC on relevant issues, such as transfer techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention
Work and coordinate with all team members to meet guests’ needs
Train staff members in specific techniques related to each resident’s individual needs in areas such as positioning, transfers, and ambulation
Work and coordinate with all team members to meet guests’ needs
Provide in-service education to the ILC Rehabilitation staff, as well as throughout ILC as needed
Serve as an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, facilitating a unified approach to guest treatment
Attend care conferences as needed to assist in developing and revising resident care plans
Ability to work different shifts, including weekends, to provide optimal resident care
Develop restorative programs and train restorative aides to carry out these programs

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensure as an Physical Therapist in the State of Montana
