As a new hire, you will be expected to be on campus full time 3 - 5 days a week. Training will approximately last 4 - 8 weeks. After training, possibility of receiving 3 or more shifts a week home as a hybrid employee - based on staffing needs shifts (no guarantees of shifts due to being per diem). This role is day shift, Monday - Friday.

As a per diem hybrid Pharmacy Technician at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, you will help Support the Refill Center, pharmacists, and physicians by preparing prescription refill requests (both protocol and non-protocol) in CS-Link for review and approval/denial by the pharmacists working under protocol on behalf of the Refill Center physicians.

Receive refill requests and enter into CS-Link (epic) for authorization review.

Ensure that each refill request is documented in the patient’s medical record.

Follow up on open refill requests in CS-Link to ensure that requests are resolved/completed in a timely manner.

One year pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy, refill pharmacy or outpatient pharmacy departmentWorking conditions/physical demands:

May occasionally require the lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Moderate noise is typical for this work environment (example: typical business office with printers and phones).
