　　The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey/RWJBH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), Evening position. Occasional weekends are required.

　　Job Summary:

　　The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist in all aspects of pharmacy practice inclusive of: sterile/non-sterile product preparation, patient profile maintenance, department recordkeeping, billing, and maintaining inventory. The Pharmacy Technician also assists in the handling of investigational drugs and associated recordkeeping.

　　Job Requirements:

　　High school diploma or equivalent required.

　　Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.

　　Minimum of one (1) year as a CPhT with oncology related experience required.

　　Active registration with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy required.

　　Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) required within one (1) year of hire required.

　　Completion of chemotherapy certification course, USP 797, and USP 800 certification within one (1) year of hire.

　　Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills required.

　　Computer literacy with proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and generalized knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) required. Prior EPIC experience preferred.
