Entry Level Pharmacy Technician Fill Department - Pacific West Pharmacy

　　Job Description:

　　The Pharmacy Technician will assist in the operation of the facility pharmacy; maintains drug and supply inventory and inventory records; orders supplies to maintain level of stock; checks goods received against purchase orders, invoices, and requisitions

　　Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a timely manner under the supervision of the pharmacist.

　　Data Entry of patient /facility information and new and refill prescription orders

　　Emergency Boxes: Replace medication/maintaining accurate stock levels.

　　Check current stock for expired medications and identify to Operations Supervisor.

　　Stock shelves when receiving stock from suppliers.

　　Establish effective communication with facilities and provide prompt and courteous service.

　　Consult with dispensing pharmacist regarding prescription order clarification, order entry issues or concerns.

　　Complete all data fields according to pharmacy procedures.

　　Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

　　Assist with pharmacy workflow as needed.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Contract to Hire: This position is starting out as a 9 month contract to hire assignment through Actalent services. You will be offered a full time position at the end of the contracted period.

　　Schedule: Second shift. 3:00pm - 11:30 pm 5x8 schedule. Weekends included

　　Requirement's:

　　CPhT License

　　6 months of CPhT experience (Preferred but not required) Will take candidates who are freshly licensed

　　Able to start in approximately 2 weeks
