Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for aPerformance Reporting & Survey Support Specialistlocated inMidland, MIorHouston, TX! The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows employees flexibility by choosing when to work remotely and when to attend on-site activities based on project work and role needs.
About you and this role
As the Performance Reporting & Survey Support Specialist, you will lead the Performance Reporting (metrics) and Survey Service delivery. You will facilitate meetings, project initiatives, and drive/ensure streamlining opportunities are identified and implemented. You will ensure all service processes are documented and updated as processes change or evolve, as well as answer questions regarding service specific work processes and job roles. In this role, you will interact with leadership to understand changing service requirements in the service processes. The Performance Reporting & Survey Support Specialist is the first level escalation for the daily process activities. You will be responsible for reviewing the metric dashboards and driving identified corrective actions required of the service areas to maintain a high service level and meet all key process metrics, i.e. own the lifecycle. You will also be responsible, in conjunction with the client, for maintaining applications, metrics, documentation, etc. that are used during the execution of these processes. You will also work closely with clients to complete key tasks and projects.
Responsibilities
Independently executes data collection, cleansing, and data entry for specific, outlined responsibilities
Has an understanding of fundamental process, data, and tools used within the Business Office
Provides management reporting to facilitate effective strategic decision making
Adapts reporting output due to changes in processes and organizations, and urgent requests from all levels of management
Executes responsibilities independently and gathers and analyzes data to solve complex problems
Demonstrates interpersonal effectiveness attributes
Maintains and fosters relationship with the clients
Initiates improvement ideas and streamlining efforts with other team members
Facilitates structured service, client, and project team meetings on a consistent basis
Is an Active member of Dow Analytics Community of Practice
Develops, enforces, and maintains work processes and metric dashboards lifecycle for the CIO and other key organizational level clients (each of the key leadership directors)
Establishes and maintains an exceptional working relationship with the clients at various levels from individual metric owners to our I/S leadership director individual area dashboards
Initiates and drives improvement ideas and streamlining efforts
Designs, develops, and executes custom data and dashboard reports requested by our clients
Maintains the schedule of surveys and demand plan, along with the associated metrics
Sets up and facilitates the End-To-End (E2E) survey execution process, including analysis of results to present key findings to our clients
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, 5 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Preferred Skills
3-5 years of experience with Dow reporting processes and IT reporting applications
Information Systems technical experience
Proficient Knowledge of Excel, Power Query and Power BI
Working Knowledge of SAP Diamond Systems Reporting and associated tools
Working knowledge of the survey process, best practices and IT survey tools (Qualtrics)
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent Collaboration with all levels in the organization and Innovation Competencies
Customer Service Mindset
Excellent Analytical and Critical Thinking skills
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
