　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　In this unique role you will utilize your knowledge and experience to function as our center's Infection Prevention Nurse and Staff Development Coordinator.

　　DUTIES:

　　Supervises nursing care of residents.

　　Complies with state and Federal Regulations

　　Works Collaboratively with members of the healthcare team

　　Maintains standards of professional nursing practice

　　Track and monitor infections in the facility and educate staff regarding infection control policies and procedure

　　Administer, plan, develop, evaluate, coordinate and educate any and all programs for the facility's staff

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

　　Required: Current licensure in the state of Employment

　　Preferred: Two years' experience in nursing

　　Preferred: One year in long-term care

　　Preferred: One-year experience with infection control

　　Preferred: One year experience and demonstrated competence in planning, implementing and directing educational programs for adults in the nursing field
