Job Summary:
Pratt & Whitney’s Integrated Business Planning organization is seeking a highly motivated, experienced employee to lead the Product Delivery Center Planning team in this exciting and challenging role. The team actively supports Pratt & Whitney’s growth products engaging in a collaborative work environment to enable engine and propulsion system delivery management and final assembly line support. In this role the Materials Manger will be responsible for leading a team of network administrators and planning professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for assembly network management and transition from standard to operative network to launch production
Accountable for MRP demand plant requirements and birdfeeder inventory management
Create and maintain birdfeeders throughout various sites to support engine assembly
Lead quarterly assembly lead time reviews with all stakeholders
Responsible for inventory management including inventory reduction and optimization
SAP support to drive configuration control & MRP signaling
Supplier Furnished Equipment (SFE) process management
Support Final Assembly Line (FAL) customers with material planning and delivery commitments
Integrate SAP delivery process for materials execution & generation of required delivery documentation for FAL customers
Plan MRP and allocate material to support Final Assembly Lines both domestically and internationally
Manage SOW for outsourced support tasks
Responsible for Material Management Accounting System (MMAS) compliance for relevant processes
Basic Qualifications
10+ years combined experience in materials planning, production planning, supply chain, inventory control, and related fields
Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, operations management or related field
Experience working with SAP
Experience working in a ma trix environment with communication at multiple levels
Experience leading teams
U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required .
Preferred skills
Strong leader and team player who demonstrates inclusive leadership behaviors
Strong analytical and strategic skills
Experiences APICS, CORE, and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred
Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization
Experience with project management
Knowledge of SAP and skilled in the use of MS Office Suite tools
Advanced Degree preferred

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
