As a Patent Analyst, you will be responsible for performing a comprehensive search and written opinion on the patentability of an array of diverse technologies.

　　About you - experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor's degree in one of the following areas:Biochemistry, Microbiology or BiotechnologyAt least 1 year of previous patent examining or patent searching experienceAt least 1 year of experience developing search methodology and conducting searches using databases such as ProQuest Dialog and IP.comMust be a U.S. citizen or work-eligible legal resident who has continuously resided in the U.S. for at least the two previous yearsAbility to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

　　What will you be doing in this role?On a weekly basis, accept projects with a defined due date.Demonstrate the ability to read a disclosure quickly and understand the technical nuances which may potentially distinguish it from the prior art.Perform a comprehensive search to ensure the most relevant prior art is located and provide a logical and complete search history.Prepare a written opinion applying the most relevant prior art to the disclosure.Maintain proficiency with commercial patent searching databases and other proprietary databases of technical publications.Stay abreast of best practices and changes to search procedures via self-directed review of materials provided by Clarivate.Maintain consistent timeliness and superior quality of deliverables.Ensure compliance with Clarivate's Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct

　　About the teamOur team has supported the USPTO by providing PCT Chapter I Search and Examination services since 2005 (formerly as Landon IP and CPA Global).

　　Hours of WorkThis is a full-time permanent position with the ability to work remotely anywhere in the U.S.

　　Compensation - US OnlyThe expected base salary for this position is a base salary of $50,000 USD per year with eligibility for productivity earnings.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
