Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable payroll specialist for our client in San Marcos to process and manage the company's payroll. You will be the one to calculate wages based on hours worked and administer payments. As a payroll specialist, you will undertake a range of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages, and making payments.

Responsibilities:

Collect daily and weekly employee timekeeping information.

Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and commissions.

Issue statements of earnings and deductions.

Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting or Human Resources is advantageous.

Proven experience as a payroll specialist or a similar role in Human Resources or accounting.

High level of proficiency in using payroll software.

Outstanding skills of understanding payroll and tax procedures.
