We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in YONKERS, New York.. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, playing a vital role in handling accounting and payroll operations for our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll for 300 hourly and salary employees

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing

• Efficiently manage ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian systems

• Regularly monitor and update employee records in the payroll system

• Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits

• Ensure compliance with auditing processes

• Manage accounting functions related to payroll

• Execute benefit functions as part of payroll processing

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all task

Requirements

• Minimum of two years experience in a Payroll Specialist role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce software

• Experience with About Time software is a plus

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately

• Auditing skills are essential

• Experience with Benefit Functions is necessary
