　　Job Description

　　AECOM's Transportation business line is seeking an entry-level Pavement Engineer to join their team.

　　The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

　　Perform assigned tasks on projects as directed by task manager.

　　Assist in transportation highway pavement and asset data analysis

　　Perform basic pavement engineering report writing.

　　Utilize pavement design software, MicroPaver and related pavement management software.

　　Utilize AutoCAD, and/or ArcGIS.

　　Perform Pavement Condition Index surveys in accordance with ASTM standards.

　　Develop basic plans, specifications and cost estimates for pavement design projects, under guidance of a registered engineer.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

　　Completion of Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and/or pavement design internship/co-op

　　Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience utilizing basic data analysis tools such as Excel (including lookups, pivot tables, VBA macros) and PowerPoint

　　Knowledge of, or able to obtain proficiency, of AutoCAD and ArcGIS.

　　Ability to obtain some proficiency using MicroPAVER, and design software such as AASHTO ’93 and FAARFIELD software.

　　Ability to gain familiarity with pavement standards such as ASTM Standard, AASHTO 93 Design guide, and/or related pavement engineering standards.

　　Ability to obtain Department of Defense security clearance.

　　Willingness to travel 50%.

　　Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation ([insert state] locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $60,000- $70,000.
