Essential Job FunctionsRespond to non-emergency calls from the MSOE community and the publicfor assistance Respond to emergency calls from the MSOE community andthe public requesting police, fire, medical or other emergency servicesDetermine the nature and location of the emergency, determinepriorities, and direct Public Safety Patrol Officers or other emergencypersonnel as necessary in accordance with established procedures EnforceUniversity parking rules and regulations Enforce all University rulesand regulations Good verbal and written communications skills Reactquickly and effectively to stressful situations Clear and concise speechAbility to handle several tasks simultaneously Ability to use allstandard Public Safety equipment Able to work evenings, weekends,holidays, and overtime as assigned Must possess a valid driver\'slicense, be able to drive, and be an eligible driver of MSOE vehiclesper company driving policy. Must possess or be able to obtain a validconcealed carry weapons (CCW) license issued by the Department ofJustice (DOJ).
