Job Description

　　The Patient Service Worker Service is responsible for responding to inbound calls and requests for patient service menu ordering needs, interpretation, and follow-through of patient diet orders in hospital and long-term care settings. Acts as a liaison between the patient, the Food and Nutrition Services Department, and Nursing Services.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Responsible for receiving calls for service; prioritizes and coordinates the service requestsIdentify and resolve customer needsCoordinate with internal resources to resolve service requestsHandles and maintains of all records and documentation of service requests; uses software to log activityProvides customer service and maintains a friendly and effective demeanor toward customers, guests, clients, and co-workers

　　Qualifications

　　Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

　　This role may have physical demands including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended standing or walking. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
