Description

　　The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a notable healthcare organization in the Westfield area to add a Patient Registration Specialist to join their team. This is a fast paced role and the ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail.

　　Hours: Monday - Friday 5a - 1:30pm

　　Responsibilities for the position include the following:

　　Pre-register and register patients in Meditech and TheraOffice systems.

　　Enter patient demographics and therapy orders accurately.

　　Schedule and reschedule all therapy appointments in TheraOffice.

　　Obtain, submit, and track authorizations for various insurances.

　　Follow up on authorization requests via phone, fax, or online tools.

　　Verify insurance benefit information for appointments and evaluations.

　　Answer incoming calls and return voicemails promptly.

　　Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

　　Collect and apply patient payments and co-payments.

　　Ensure accuracy of patient accounts and billing in Meditech.

　　Complete monthly patient registrations in Meditech.

　　Discharge patients weekly with accurate updates based on progress notes and summaries.

　　Print and fax progress notes for referrals daily.

　　Requirements

　　High School Diploma/GED Required

　　1-2 years Patient Registration Experience Required, 2-4 years preferred

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　High level of attention to detail
