Description

　　The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a well known healthcare company in the Westfield area to find a Patient Registration Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have superb verbal and written communication skills and have an incredibly strong attention to detail.

　　Schedule:

　　Monday - Thursday 9am-5:30pm

　　Friday 8am - 4:30pm

　　Responsibilities for the position include the following:

　　Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

　　Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information

　　Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits

　　Schedule appointments and reschedule as needed

　　Process patient payments and copayments

　　Answer patient questions and provide assistance with medical forms

　　Maintain patient confidentiality

　　Keep registration area clean and organized

　　Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed

　　Requirements

　　High school diploma/GED required

　　1-2 years of patient registration experience required; 2-4 years preferred

　　Excellent customer service and communication skills

　　Ability to multitask and work under pressure

　　Strong organizational and data entry skills

　　Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures
