Summary of Duties:
Within the College of Veterinary Medicine, this position will provide the coordination of pathology cases for faculty and residents and working in conjunction with faculty directors provide administrative support and coordination for, 1) the pathology resident and externship programs, 2) the 4th year veterinary medical student Diagnostics rotation in WADDL, 3) the resident training courses, and 4) the faculty and resident pathology duty schedule in the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory and Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology (VMP).
Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Program Specialty: Pathology Services
An additional two years of experience working in a medical or laboratory setting for a total of four years of required work experience. A Bachelor's Degree in a field relevant to animal, veterinary, or medical sciences may be substituted for the work experience requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience providing customer service experience over the phone in a medical and/or veterinary office setting.
• Experience in instructional support
• Knowledge of the field of veterinary medicine
• Database management experience
• Veterinary Technician license
• Master's degree in a related field
• DVM

Monthly Salary:
Range 40 | $3,376 to $4,497 (steps A-M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://https:/app.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=357-28.
