　　POSITION SUMMARY

　　Join our Ladies and Gentlemen and oversee the daily communications and operations of the pastry section in collaboration with the Pastry Sous Chef

　　Liaise daily with culinary team regarding all aspects of pastry food production, set ups & timings for daily events

　　Assist the Pastry Sous Chef in ensuring the quality, consistency and production of areas of responsibility focusing on attention to detail

　　Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period

　　Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence with each customer experience

　　Ensure compliance to Work, Health and Safety, Hygiene and HACCP standards

　　Be creative and innovative when assisting with menu design and outlet concepts

　　Supervise and coordinate activities of pastry kitchen.

　　Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food.

　　Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products. Ensure the quality of the food items and notify manager if a product does not meet specifications.

　　Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.

　　Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification

　　Completion of Food Safety Handling Certification

　　Passion for the industry

　　Relevant experience in a similar role
