Purpose of Position:
Provide excellent and professional customer service. Process both business and individual banking transactions. Manage a cash drawer with accuracy. Follow proper policies and procedures. Maintain and promote customer relationships.
Basic Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions in either the bank lobby or drive-thru windowsPerform regulatory functions for those transactions which require them, such as Reg CC and BSA formsResponsible for accurate daily balancing of a cash drawerSell Cashier Checks, Money Orders, and Official Bank ChecksRedeem Savings Bonds and process Cash AdvancesPreparation of daily "teller work" for scanning to Bank Operations DepartmentProvide customer service that builds customer relationships, cross-sell bank products/services, and assist customers with problem resolutionRequired Skills and Qualifications:
Approximately 6 months prior teller experience or experience in positions requiring heavy cash handling and balancingAbility to communicate with customers in a clear, concise, and professional mannerBasic PC experience, including Microsoft Windows 10Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to recognize and differentiate colorsExtensive customer contact requiring proven skills in building relationships which will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank[St. John Bank is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
