Position Summary Information

ObjectiveProvide necessary technical assistance for scheduled events.

Required Quals Summary-Associate of Arts degree that includes at least 12 hours of Theatre Arts Courses OR significant related workplace experience in lieu of educational credits.-In-depth knowledge of performing arts, lighting equipment and design, audio equipment, theatre equipment/facility maintenance.-Journey-level skills in electrical, carpentry, audio, and rigging.-Ability to perform heavy lifting, climb stairs and ladders, work long hours, and have a flexible schedule.-Ability to trouble-shoot technical and personnel issues which are relative to the execution of events and performances.-Experience in safe operation of power tools-Ability to work at heights on ladders, personnel lifts, and grid over stage.
