About us

　　Aware is Mercer County's domestic violence and sexual abuse agency. We are dedicated to advocating, educating, and supporting all people in Mercer County impacted by domestic, emotional, and sexual violence.

　　Responsibilities:Coordinate and maintain agency properties

　　Conduct regular and routine maintenance for AWARE facilities.Conduct exterior maintenance as defined by supervisorAct as the point of contact for vendor visits as directed by supervisor.Conduct safety and maintenance checks on agency vehicles

　　Turn vehicle mileage log into supervisor monthly.Maintain a schdule of repair and maintenance, inspection, and emissions for all agency vehiclesReport to supervisor any issues and/or concerns regarding agency vehiclesMonitor the work of general volunteers at residential facilities

　　Schedule activities and times for volunteer activities as directed by supervisor.Supervise volunteers during the conduct of activitiesSupport the work of the Advisory Boards of emergency housing sites as directed by supervisor.Coordinate the community service work at agency sites as directed by supervisor.Collect and transport donations

　　Coordinate and review donated items from community as directed by supervisor.Organize pick-up or drop off donated items.Detail inventory and utilization of donated items by agency clients monthlyOther areas required

　　Positively support the mission and vision of the agencyTransport records to storage annually as directedMeet monthly with supervisorAttend staff meetings, in-service training, workshops as directed by supervisorComplete (10) hours continuing education annually.Experience and Qualifications:

　　Successful working experience in property managementBasic computer literacy including use of Microsoft Office and Excel; email communication; web browser navigationComplete agency required trainingStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with staff and community membersAct 33 and Act 34/FBI clearances required.Possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and use of a vehicle.If you have the required experience and skills for this position, we would love to hear from you.
