DescriptionShifts available: 11p-11a or 3p-3aPosition SummaryAssist patients and health care needs as directed by clinician during Emergency Department visit including performing 12 lead EKGs, blood draws, initiate Hep-locks, bedside point of care testing, aerosol treatments. Ensures the daily completion of point of care testing quality controls, defibrillator checks, refrigerator checks, transports. Performs ABGs and gain IV access as directed by order. Prepares patients and care environment for exam, specimen collection and anticipates needs of patients and providers proactively. Performs delegated basic procedures as described by their annual competency based tool and orientation program.Required For All JobsPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
