They should possess excellent patientservice skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and the abilityto make quick informed decisions about patient health. They are expectedto be familiar with all onboard equipment, policies, and medicalguidelines which pertain to their position. Major Responsibilities:Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of, and compliance with, allTri-State Ambulance policies and procedures. Demonstrate the attitude ofa health care professional to include, but not be limited to:maintaining a clean appearance; demonstrating courteous, professionaland ethical behavior; and demonstrating the ability to workcooperatively with other members of the EMS health care system.Demonstrate the skills and knowledge of a Nationally RegisteredParamedic per the standards set forth by the United States Department ofTransportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, theState of Wisconsin, and the EMS medical director. Demonstrate a sinceredesire to continually improve and upgrade the skills and knowledge ofthe emergency medical profession. Demonstrate the ability to rendercompetent patient care within the guidelines of Tri-State Ambulance.Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to inspect, safelyoperate, and maintain an emergency vehicle, including possession of acurrent and valid driver\'s license, and demonstrate knowledge andcompliance with all State laws pertaining to the safe operation of anemergency vehicle. Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required toinspect, safely operate, and maintain all equipment and tools relevantto a Paramedic. Demonstrate the ability to work with other members ofthe medical and public safety communities. Demonstrate the ability toaccurately and completely document information required by Tri-StateAmbulance, the State of Wisconsin, and local medical control.Demonstrate physical ability to perform all tasks required in theperformance of duties as a Paramedic Demonstrate the ability to cleanand maintain the cleanliness of Tri-State Ambulance property, including,but not limited to, its vehicles, equipment, buildings and surroundingarea(s).
