Description

We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to assist our team in the healthcare industry in Los Angeles, California. This role involves supporting a C-Suite Executive and the legal team with a range of cases and internal matters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to attorneys with current caseload

• Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times

• Keep detailed notes and create files that can be appropriately labeled by category

• Conduct legal research and analyze cases/case law

• Understand and interpret contracts, including their terms and subject matter

• Use Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel proficiently

• Effectively manage calendars and handle complaints

Requirements

• Previous experience in the healthcare is desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Must possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Must be proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
