Operate painting equipment to paint surfaces of various aircraft parts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate1+ years of painting experience in the aerospace/aviation industryPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years experience in a manufacturing/production environment in the aerospace or aviation industryAbility to perform basic shop math, interpret technical drawings, follow work instructions and process specificationsAbility to manage accurate mix ratios, cure schedules, and overcoat windowsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsADDITIONAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM DUTIES:This is a hands-on position that may require standing for up to 4 hours a day and working directly with hardware on the floor.Applicants must be able to lift at least up to 25 lbs unassisted, be comfortable stooping, bending, standing, climbing ladders, or working in tight spaces; be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
