DescriptionWhat You'll Do:As our part-time P-8 Pilot, you will join our expert team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will execute P-8A Software Integration and Test in support of NAVAIR program office PMA-290.Specifically, you will:Provide PMA-290 (P-8A) with analysis and engineering support for software and hardware integration and test, along with incorporation into the MPRA P-8A Naval Aviation Technical Information Products (NATIP) and Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) manualsProvide recommendations to PMA-290 IPTs regarding the integration and test of the newest version of software to conduct ASW, AAS, and ISR missionsDevelop flight deck-related test plans and proceduresProvide inputs to the PMA-290 leadership regarding integration and testing of flight management system and related hardware and softwareSummarize results of analysis and investigation, when required, in the form of written and oral briefingsProvide hands-on developmental and regression testing of P-8A flight management systems in the Weapon System Integration Lab (WSIL)RequirementsWho You Are:Bachelor's degree in a related field is requiredThis role requires a minimum of eight years of experience as a pilot and a minimum of two years as an instructor pilot.737 Type Rating.
