　　Job Overview

　　Komatsu Mining in Charleroi, PA (off the Bentleyville exit of Route 70) is looking for a candidate who can drive atruck with capacity over 80,000 lbs. gross to transport mining equipment and parts to and from specified destinations (warehouses). This is a team position - both drivers are paid mileage when the truck is moving and downtime when it's not. Home every weekend (Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun, or Sun/Mon). No loading or unloading freight, just chain/strap and go. New 2023 Peterbilt trucks. Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, vacation, holiday, and personal days. Position includes a $3,500 sign-on bonus for drivers with 2+ years of experience.

　　Key Job Responsibilities

　　The essential functions necessary to complete the work listed in the Job Overview:1. Climbs into truck and checks shipment to make sure itis loaded correctly by walking in back of trailer or alongside on runners.2. Pulltarp across trailer from one sideto the other and secures the tarp3. Starts and drives truck in four hour rotations with team members (alternatively sleeping in four hour rotations)4. Provides manifest to warehouse representative at delivery site5. Markets products and services to customer at delivery site6. Removes and later replaces/secures tarp across trailer7. Completes paper work including miles driven (log)

　　The secondary functions occasionally necessary to complete the work listed in the Job Overview:1. Fuels truck2. Calls national lease firm if vehicle breaks down to arrange repairs or to obtain a replacement truck3. Chains and binds down gear case as needed4. Monitors service schedule and schedules truck for service as needed

　　Qualifications/Requirements

　　High School Diploma/GEDCommercial driver's license; must pass ICC physical and drug test every 2 years; must pass possible random drug test; commercial driver's license - CDL Class A and two years (preferred) Over the Road experience.
