All this to contribute to achieving our team goal: to acquire users who are looking to enhance their listening experience through a "do-it-for-me" solution provided by a professional that can introduce, educate and support their sound and smart technology needs.Assigned Territory: You will be responsible for identifying the key decision makers in multiple pro trades, establishing and developing relationships at all levels of an organization through in-person individual customer meetings, trade shows and other networking events within your geographic territory. The geographic territory includes the following states CA, OR, WA, NV, ID, UT, MT. The dealers assigned to you in your territory will be those that benefit and require regular in person business meetings. This is a very collaborative role in that you will work closely with your market counterpart, the National Business Development Manager and Pro Channel Trainer to ensure we provide high-level support for each one of our strategic partners.Preference for candidates in the following market: Greater Los Angeles with the ability to regularly travel throughout the entire LA valley without a hotel, Greater San Francisco with the ability to regularly travel throughout the entire San Fran, Oakland, San Jose region without a hotelWhat You'll Do:Relationship Management - Build and develop dealer relationships to exceed company growth goals. The Account Manager is responsible for creating and organizing an effective schedule of dealer meetings to help grow our top independent dealers. As an Outside Account Manager, you will be meeting in-person with partners throughout your assigned territory.Forecast Guidance - Provide channel insights and contribute to the sell-through forecast process by developing an intimate understanding of your partner's business. Account Managers provides real-time feedback back to channel leads to help ensure an accurate plan for each quarter.New Business Development - Seek dealer opportunities in our AV, Security, Builder, Electrician, and remodeler channels by building relationships with new partners. We expect anybody in this role to help identify new business opportunities that have not yet been explored. This will be completed through a combination of virtual and in-person meetings. This person will be the "feet on the street" key contact that will dig up new B2B business opportunities. These meetings may take place in a formal office setting, at trade shows or on a customer jobsite.Resource Management - Create a game plan that allows you to use your time effectively to ensure you are impacting the dealers with the most potential. The Account Manager reports on what is working and what needs improvement on a monthly and quarterly basis.Field Partnership - Forge an important bond by working side-by-side with your Inside Account Manager counterpart to effectively manage the geographic territory while partnering with our National Training Team to ensure a high level of training and support for our partners.
