About Originations Control Manager Associate

  Join our team as a Control Management Associate, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a sustainable and disciplined control environment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a control framework for a new channel supporting an affluent customer segment, offering immense growth potential and the chance to work with a dynamic team.

  As a Control Management Associate in Originations, you will be tasked with maintaining a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment for the channel. Your responsibilities will include identifying and escalating issues promptly, and collaborating with the Business to ensure timely remediation of these issues. You will be part of a team that aids in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. Additionally, you will assist in developing a control framework for a new channel that caters to an affluent customer segment.

  Job Responsibilities:

  Evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks in partnership with stakeholders

  Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols

  Perform ongoing analysis of program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies

  Assist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units

  Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  3+ years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance preferred; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation

  Experience in Commercial Lending, Wealth Management, or Business Banking is highly preferred.

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
