For the Italian pharmaceutical production plant of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for an Operations Process Improvement Lead to be hired with permanent contract in OPERATIONS SUPPORT DEPARTMENT .
Latina is the Launch & Growth site within the Janssen Supply Chain. Operation Support team deals with activities and projects aimed at increase quality, productivity and efficiency to meet long-term cost targets and improve the availability of production equipment in all the areas implementing technological and organizational cutting-edge solutions and problem solving activities that ensure a flawless safety, quality and efficiency of production. You will have the chance, as leader of small group of specialist, to directly lead initiatives and programs to improve operations performance, maintaining alignment to Management, to guarantee interaction between different departments by structuring the design of new solutions with them to improve operations processes, create model of specific metric for reliability of operations and supply chain process. Supporting the reliability of the site, working with the site departments leaders to have a comprehensive usage of all the relevant metrics and facilitating the transition from data exploration & descriptive performance management to real time & predictive performance management developing and leveraging advanced digital solution. All of that according to data driven approach and lean manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Implement Continuous Improvement projects to increase operations performance.
Ensure effective follow-up of managed initiatives with management and all stakeholders involved.
Support operative departments in defining effective business objectives and promoting their control throw a representative model for flawless Management Control identifying improvement areas.
Collaborate with the operational excellence service on benchmark and diagnostic initiatives to identify improvement opportunities for the business (Efficiency, Productivity, Reliability, Cost).
Ensure the development and dissemination of the culture of advanced digital solutions for business relevant data and continuous improvement of the teams leaded (change management, development, implementation, training, sustainability).
Working with the Operative leaders to guarantee the effective usage of all the relevant metrics under control (Scheduling Attainment; Operation Efficiency, OEE, Productivity Index, Right First Time, OTR, Planning Efficiency, CIP)
Plan the activities according to the data driven approach.
Ensure the adequacy of technical and general knowledge, processes and performance through the skills matrix, coaching and continuous monitoring for yourself and your team.
Ensure the performance indicators of the areas of your own responsibility are in line with the expected results
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Data Science or equivalent is required
Master’s Degree is preferred
Lean manufacturing certification
Experience:
Requires 5 years of experience in the fields of Engineering/Maintenance/Utilities/Operations or pharma manufacturing in regulated business
Prior experience in leading programs to deliver business results
Demonstrated supervision or team leading experience in last 2 years according to structured performance management.
Key Competencies:
Proven ability in structured problem-solving and decision making technique.
Personal and team organization skills required ;
Proven skills of risk based approach and change control management (CoC).
Proven skills of critical situation management
Proven skill on usage SAP E2/ERP/CMMS/MD for data scouting and Cycle Time updating
Basic project planning skills
Proven skills in key message and effective communication
Proven skill on usage equipment data analysis tools
Proven skill on Excel usage for data manipulation.
Knowledge of data analysis with statistic tools
Ability to build strong working partnerships, trust and credibility at all levels;
Proficiency in English is required (B2 level and above)
Ability to experiment models (i.e. Metodo Scientifico Sperimentale, DOE)
Other qualifications that will be considered as a plus:
Usage of Power Query, Power BI, Tableau , Minitab, Matlab
Lean six sigma certification.
Proven skills on quality investigation management
Experience as spoken person in Health or safety authority Audit
Presentation and public speaking abilities
Prior experience in participation to global team /initiative/project as autonomous member
