Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Subset For PDM
This position is responsible coordinating with PDI Management and Workforce Management assisting in optimizing the use of resources by monitoring aged inventory levels, productivity, monitoring Provider Data Maintenance Specialist scheduled versus actual output of written and phone work, working with local management and Workforce Management to optimize output
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate with Workforce Management analysts to forecast projected future contact volumes for intra-day, daily, weekly, monthly and annual increments; and project staffing needs meet specified performance and service levels by using the Workforce Management reports.
2. Coordinate with Workforce Management and Provider Data Integrity Management to forecast projected future volumes to determine resource allocation; project staffing needs; support specified performance metrics.
3. Manage Provider Data Integrity use of Workforce Management tools to provide effective employee work schedules to cover provider data maintenance inventories. Prepare and ensure schedules are published within acceptable timeframes.
4. Monitor daily Provider Data Integrity service level, productivity, adherence to schedules, adjust schedules as necessary, escalate issues and make recommendations to Provider Data Integrity Management.
5. Coordinate with Plans, GPD, and Network Operations and Solution Delivery management to meet specified performance and inventory levels using available reports.
6. Monitor aging inquiries, distribute aged inventory workloads, ensure inventory levels are under control and coordinate staffing to meet inventory goals.
7. Monitor daily Provider Data Integrity inventory levels, aging, and adjust work mix as necessary, escalate aged issues and make recommendations to FSU Management.
8. Administer PTO assignments and process requests within department guidelines and in partnership with Provider Data Integrity Management team.
9. Monitor aging provider data maintenance inventory, distribute aged inventory workloads, ensure inventory levels are under control and coordinate staffing to meet inventory goals.
10. Monitor daily Provider Data Integrity volumes and aging; reallocate resources as necessary, escalate issues and make recommendations to local Sr Provider Data Maintenance Specialists and Provider Data Integrity Training team.
11. Analyze reasons for controllable/uncontrollable inventory.
12. Utilize problem solving and analytical d skills to design and recommend process improvements and innovations.
13. Manage Provider Data Integrity tools to effectively manage provider data maintenance inventory.
14. Monitor aged inventory and analyze reasons for controllable/uncontrollable inventory.
15. Collaborate with Workforce Management, Provider Data Integrity Management/Training to facilitate sharing information, best practices, and workloads to meet divisional performance objectives.
16. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
17. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
18. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
19. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED.
2 years of college and 1 year of experience in provider data maintenance service position OR 3 years experience in a provider data maintenance service position.
Interpersonal and organizational skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of inventory management tools.
1 year experience working as a forecasting or scheduling analyst, analyzing inquiry inventory data, and making recommendations on staffing and first contact resolution.
1 year experience supporting SQL, Microsoft Access/Excel, report writing, and analysis activities.
6 months experience analyzing workforce data and making scheduling recommendations on staffing.
Some travel may be required.
Knowledge of Premier Provider Web (PPW).
Knowledge of quality review of Provider Data Entry staff.
Knowledge or experience in provider networking, credentialing, and contracting.
Knowledge or experience in enterprise PDM business rules
Knowledge or experience in NOSD internal systems ( E-Status, PPW, CAQH, SF)
Ability to handle multiple projects in an environment of urgent and shifting deadlines.
Data auditing experience
