Job Description Summary

　　The Ashalim Solar Power Plant is looking for an Operations & Performance Specialist to join the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.

　　As an Operations & Performance Specialist you shall be responsible to ensure high reliability and performance of the power plant, within technical limitations and per plant operating procedures, working closely with the Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisors.

　　Essential Responsibilities

　　1. Implement operational strategy consistent with achieving maximum plant efficiency to meet contractual requirements in the most safe, reliable, economical and environmentally manner.

　　2 .Develop, record and retain applicable plant operations and maintenance data

　　3. Lead periodic operational checks and tests of the plant equipment, in accordance with O&M requirements, equipment manufacturers' recommendations and applicable laws & regulations.

　　4 .Support the installation and maintaining of the Machine and Equipment Health, Reliability Management and Performance Monitoring Systems

　　5. Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements in plant operations.

　　6 .Assist the Operations Manager in technical evaluation of candidates during hiring process and assist the training and qualification of the operations team.

　　7. Support development and implementation of operating procedures for major systems using Facility designer's operation manuals/procedures and equipment Vendors' instructions.

　　8 .Initiate facility modifications and upgrades to enhance plant reliability and performance.

　　9. Work in cooperation with GE O&M Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, GE Engineering and other O&M support functions.

　　10 .Support optimization of plant operating strategies with the aim of achieving lower cost operation and/or increased efficiency and output.

　　11. Implement plant operating logs covering critical plant operating parameters and conduct necessary review and analysis to proactively identify potential problems.

　　12 . Support to carry out root cause analysis and troubleshoot malfunctions and operating defects.

　　13. Prepare operations activities and performance reports as per requirements of the contract.

　　14 . Participate and support plant root cause analysis for the technical events.

　　15. Understand H&S risks / hazards and environmental / legislative aspects / impacts related to work activities.

　　16 .Lead, implement and manage operation digital tools as an admin user.

　　17 .Train the operation team for operation concept and event analysis.

　　18 . Support and backup operation manager on a daily tasks if needed.

　　19. Perform additional duties as required.

　　Qualifications/Requirements

　　Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Controls Engineering from an accredited College or University or equivalent experience in CSP. Minimum 3 years of Power plant O&M experience with minimum three years in team lead position in plant operationsPrior customer interface experienceExcellent Hebrew and English, both written and verbalProficiency with computer tools.
