Description

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant/Office Manager to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role offers a contract employment opportunity within the operations management sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our processes.

Responsibilities:

Work along with the accounting team in the preparation of P L reports, balance sheets, and other financial statements.

In charge of customer invoicing, including creating and sending out invoices in a timely manner.

Efficiently handle light accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Help streamline various accounting procedures and processes.

Responsible for running payroll accurately and according to schedule.

Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system.

Aid in administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing office supplies and equipment, and maintaining office cleanliness.

Act as a point of contact for vendors and suppliers.

Assist in building maintenance, safety, and security.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Experienced in handling payroll operations.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
