About Operations Lead - Bakery Plant

  As the Operations Lead, you will assist line owners with hourly timecards in our payroll system. You will work closely with HR and operations to set up employee schedules, review data, and update forms. You will also assist line owners in their review and correction of SAP issues, and communicate with the warehouse team to review, correct, and sustain accurate material. This is the point person for personnel issues for operations. You will report to the first shift Production Manager, and will work onsite at our Indianapolis Bakery location. This position earns $28.50 per hour.

  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  Use UKG for time reporting of hourly staff in support of line operations. Work closely with HR on all time related concerns/personnel issues.

  Lead a Weekly Scheduling Meeting and post weekly schedules

  Lead in new operations initiatives, including our new Connect Worker interface. Task will include, but are not limited to, employee setup, job scheduling, standard updating, reporting functions and technical troubleshooting

  Act as a Parsable Super User

  Communicate with all levels within the company, including visitors and corporate guests.

  Resolve issues the come up, and coach hourly employees.

  Attend Daily meetings (as directed) and speak to your area.

  Assist with the LEDS program, including training, monitoring, creating reports, working with all departments to correct. Must ensure accurate downtime reporting within LEDs.

  Make sure process orders are closed and paperwork is ready for the IC team.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Two (2) year college degree, or proven work experience

  Proficient with MS Office or other programs such as Kronos, SAP, or Lotus

  Experience in the food Industry preferred.

  Continuous Improvement and/or Human Resources experience preferred.
