External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.Your Role:MilliporeSigma Bellevue designs and manufactures proprietary testing platforms for the detection of foodborne pathogens. The Operations Lab Tech I is an onsite position responsible for both Operations and QC activity.For Operations you will create product components that are used in the manufacture of diagnostic test kits. You will perform routine assignments within established procedures and practices in a commercial manufacturing laboratory.For QC you will conduct release testing and troubleshooting on a wide variety of products using established protocols, in compliance with our quality management system. Expect to draw on (or develop) knowledge in molecular biology and chemistry while working in a small team.Who You Are:Strong attention to detail, accuracy in completing documentation, and ability to function well in team setting. Follow company guidelines for personal protective equipment use good lab practices and relevant ISO procedures. This is a first shift, Monday through Friday role.Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Molecular Biology* 1+ years of experience within a life science manufacturing or research environmentPreferred Qualifications:* Production laboratory experience preferred.* Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to follow written instruction and accurately complete with batch records.* Cell culture experience* Experience performing statistical analysis and interpretation of data.* 1+ years of experience with MS Word and MS Excel in a life science manufacturing or research environmentPay Range for this position - $44,800 - $104,400Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
