Description

　　The Cyber and SIGINT Solutions Operation at Leidos has an opportunity for a Operational Language Analyst - Level 1 to work at various locations such as Ft Meade. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the customer language mission. In this mission you will conduct scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials; recovering essential elements of information; gisting, translating and transcribing; compiling and updating operational working aids and databases; and drafting intelligence reports. The Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations. This position is contingent upon contract award.

　　This position may also be available in Augusta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Wahiawa, HI, and other locations.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　The Level 1 Operational Language Analyst shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:

　　Recovering essential elements of informationRendering translations and/or transcripts based on straightforward, factual written and/or spoken material Gisting straightforward, factual written and/or spoken material Typing on an English-language keyboard

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph required.High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent from other countries.Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 2 in Audio Translation Performance and/or Translation Performance from the required language into standard American English. Scores from the NSA Civilian Language Test of Record, valid at time of resume submission, may be used as acceptable validation for text translation and audio translation skill level(s). ILR skill level validation shall be documented within two (2) years prior to resume submission.Equivalent of two (2) years full-time experience performing cryptologic language processing in the required language.For at least one (1) of the two (2) years' experience, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duties.One (1) year experience typing on an English keyboard.

　　Pay Range:

　　Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00

　　The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
