  OPERATIONAL DESIGN ANALYTICS MANAGER

  What you will do

  In this vital role you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of clinical trials through data-driven approaches and contribute to our mission of advancing high potential programs for patients around the world.

  You will work closely with the Senior Managers Operational Design Analytics (ODA) Team to facilitate the development of predictive and custom analytics deliverables, partnering with other cross-functional data teams to drive efficiencies and ensure quality in our data ecosystem.

  Key Responsibilities include:

  Surface and provide feasibility parameters, including historical trial performance metrics (enrolment rate, screen failure rate, drop-out rates, and completion rates) and other related clinical trial metadata

  Leverage internal data and predictive analytics tools to inform on study planning & placement decisions (examples of data sources/platforms include Trial Trove, Site Trove, Biomed Tracker, Cortellis Clinical Trial Intelligence, Study Optimizer, Data Query System (DQS))

  Collate global site performance data to support recommendations for the most effective geographic footprint based on a study’s specific requirements

  Surface and identify potential enrolment challenges by quantifying how specific eligibility criteria can impact recruitment rates and trial durations.

  Harmonisation and master of various data sources utilised by cross-functional teams for study planning and predictive modelling

  Drive data quality and process improvement projects to accelerate efficiencies within the ODA Team

  Collaborate with cross-functional data colleagues to curate biologically driven training datasets for Machine Learning applications

  Utilise Racial and Ethnic Minority (REM) data insights to support the successful enrolment of the Diversity Action Plan (DAP) targets and DAP Mitigation Plans

  You would be joining a newly formed Global Operational Design Analytics Team within the Clinical Program Operations (CPO) function.

  Degree educated

  Work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including biopharmaceutical clinical development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company)

  Passion for data and analytics, combined with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

  Proficiency in data curation with an eye for data quality and experience in leveraging data and analytics to inform clinical trial planning.

  Experience with clinical data sources and understanding of how/when to apply them (fit for purpose approach)

  Ability to integrate and synthesise data as it relates to operational planning and apply to facilitate data-driven decision making

  Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
