Position Purpose:
Saint Alphonsus Family Center in Boise, ID is hiring an Office Specialist to support their operations. The Office Specialist manages front desk operations at the Saint Alphonsus Family Center including patient scheduling, registration and check-in, supply ordering, building maintenance, colleague support, patient relations and community program administration.

Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled for 24 hours a week from 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
Experience in educational or health related fields preferred.
What You Will Do:
Greet and welcome patients to the Family Center. Often called to assist with way finding.
Manages and coordinates workflow in front office including scheduling, registration, billing and insurance verification. Ability to work within an electronic medical record.
Manages Family Center environment and staff in the manager's absence.
Develops and updates office forms: HIPAA requirements, billing sheets with proper coding, Health and Welfare, Medicaid, and Medicare. Ensures patient charts are up to date and meeting all standards.
Assists in administration of social needs programs such as the Family Center Food Bank, Clothing Closet and Diaper Bank.
Audits daily revenue reports and works with providers and manager to correct errors.
Responsible for ordering office supplies and educational, bereavement and lactation supplies.
Assists educators in classroom set-up and preparation.
Utilizes MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete the Essential Functions
