Description We are seeking an Office Clerk for our Wholesale Distribution team located in BREWSTER, New York. This role involves supporting our Talent Acquisition Manager and playing a vital part in our day-to-day recruiting process. The position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing outbound orders and identifying any missing items
• Collaborating with warehouse personnel to locate and fulfill missing products
• Utilizing our Warehouse Management System to check inventory levels and track product availability
• Identifying potential stock-outs that might impact orders and taking appropriate action
• Monitoring email for any customer service inquiries related to orders and resolving these promptly
• Communicating effectively with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Identifying and tracking errors such as mispicks, incorrect quantities, and labeling mistakes
• Documenting errors and working with supervisors to implement corrective actions to minimize future occurrences
• Ensuring all order and routing paperwork is complete and accurate
• Performing other administrative tasks as assigned by the Night Operations Supervisor Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, such as Office Clerk or Administrative Assistant, within the Wholesale Distribution industry
• Proficiency in utilizing various office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle both internal and external stakeholders professionally
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining and organizing files and records efficiently
• High attention to detail and the ability to enter data accurately and efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Demonstrable multitasking and time management skills
• Knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles will be an advantage.
