　　Stantec is seeking a Nursery Technician in our Walkerton, Indiana location. This person will be key in performing day to day sowing, planting, transplanting, and shipping activities in all departments at the nursery. This person must be able to work independently or as a team consistently.

　　Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Shipping plants to our client with quality and accuracy

　　Transplanting and maintaining plants

　　Assisting other departments doing bare root plant extractions

　　Assisting with plug planting, weeding, watering, seed harvest, and processing seed

　　Assisting with shipping, plug production, onsite seed production, and offsite seed collection

　　Occasionally metering and blending seed mixes for our clients

　　Qualifications

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Ability to repetitively lift 30 pounds while working outside

　　Must be able to tolerate excessive heat and humidity

　　Capable of being on your feet for hours at a time

　　Must be authorized to work in U.S. without company sponsorship
