Emory Healthcare is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a new Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology APP service line that will treat patients at our MSK Institute at Executive Park and at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
In this role, the ideal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) candidate will have 2 to 3 years of procedural and imaging experience as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior experience in Orthopedics is highly desired for this role. Some of the responsibilities of this position will include managing MSK procedure consultation list, inpatient consults and outpatient management.
Position will be 4-10's and there are no call, overnight or weekend requirements.
This is a truly unique opportunity to join a collaborative Provider team with a chance to grow and develop a new service line role. Experienced APP's interested in expanding their skillset can learn advanced image-guided procedures in this dynamic position.

Salary range: $106,000 to $134,000 per year depending upon years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
This role is eligible for our APP Incentive Plan.

Description
We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a dynamic new APP service line with MSK Radiology. The APP will treat patients at our MSK Institute at Executive Park and at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
Under the direction of a physician, performs specialized MSK related diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopic directed procedures (joint injections, soft tissue aspiration, nerve blocks, tenotomy and other specialized MSK image-guided therapies)
Managing MSK procedural consultation list
Outpatient management
Inpatient consults
Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
In collaboration with physician, arranges for consultations with or referrals to other medical professionals or community services.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties.
BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
