　　Description: POSITION PURPOSE

　　This position performs a variety of duties. The General Laborer will inspectcheese quality, inspect packaging, package the cheese, ensure packagingquality, and perform sanitation of work area and equipment.

　　All other duties as assigned.

　　We Ask of You To:

　　The position reports to the Packaging Supervisor. No employees report to theposition.

　　The General Labor employee is responsible for the safe operation of theassociated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming rawmaterials, the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with StandardOperating Procedures (SOP s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)and safe work practices. This position is also responsible for maintaining 5Sstandards, and participating in and implementing continuous improvement.

　　The General Laborer must be able to communicate effectively in relayinginformation to team members, team leads, supervisors, and managers asapplicable.

　　The General Laborer must be able to lift moderate weights repeatedlythroughout the shift. The position holder is also required to stand/walkthroughout the shift and must have the ability to work in hot, humid, andcold areas. The General Laborer must be able to work overtime and holidayswhen required. The operator must be able to read/write and perform basicarithmetic in order to understand the S.O.P. s, Good ManufacturingPractices, and safe work practices.

　　The General Labor employee must be able to understand the requirements of theposition and successfully demonstrate proficiency in the job specific PSOP jobcertification.

　　This position is responsible and accountable to ensure product meets foodsafety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food SafetyPlan, Quality Plan, and company policies.

　　This position requires the incumbent to work on site at the facility to beable to perform the associated job responsibilities.

　　This position is an overnight position, working 12 hour shifts 6:00pm-6:30am

　　PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

　　1.Package the cheese into the tote and seal the bags.

　　60%2.Maintain stock of boxes on the packaging line and inspect packaging materialsfor defects and report issues to the team lead, supervisors, or manager asapplicable.

　　10%3.Inspect final cheese product for product quality and report issues to teamlead, supervisor, or manager as applicable.

　　10%4.Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations.

　　10%5.Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following good manufacturingpractices as required by company procedures, maintain housekeeping in areaand maintain 5S standards.

　　5%6.Document all lot numbers and pallet numbers of bag, box, liners, andstretch wrap used on the tracking logs.
