If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, Core Engineering is looking for New GraduateNuclear Core Design Engineerto join the Nuclear Design team and perform complex nuclearengineering standard and non-standard analysis work, and provide technical leadership in design, development, training, performance, and delivery of complex products and services.New GraduateNuclear Core Design EngineerYour Day-to-Day:Perform standard and non-standardcore designreload analysis work for US and international customers, following approved, internalmethodologies and procedures (METCOM, ESM, Fuels procedures), maintaining focus on nuclear safety and quality.Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems that are not well defined.Interface with customers and multi-functional project teams. May act as expert knowledge resource of specific engineering discipline.Lead work of other engineers and provide periodic performance feedback to them.Identify, define, and direct approach for successful resolution of significant technical nuclear design issues.Coordinate and integrate complex technical projects that encompass multi-functional areas; successfully achieve established budget and schedule requirements.Provide appropriate internal/external personnel with periodic updates and recommendations regarding nature and status of work.Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products.
